Welcome to the Skills Matrix App support page. Follow the steps below to successfully connect your data to the app and start gaining insights into your team's skills and performance.

Step 1: Prepare Your Excel Sheet

Please organize your data for all your employees in the attached Excel file named "Overview Skills Matrix List" including the following columns:

Note: Please do not rename the columns, as this will affect the Skills Matrix Report.

  1. Title: Title or the id of the line.

  2. Employees: Name of the employee.

  3. Last update: The date when the information was last updated.

  4. skills: The specific skill being rated. Users can select which skills they want to include in their skills matrix.

  5. ratings: The proficiency rating for the skill, measured on a scale of 0 to 5, where:

            {0, "No proficiency", "No experience or understanding of the skills"},
            {1, "Basic understanding", "Limited experience and basic understanding of the skills"},
            {2, "Limited working proficiency", "Some practical experience and can perform tasks with supervision"},
            {3, "Professional working proficiency", "Good understanding and can handle tasks independently"},
            {4, "Full professional proficiency", "Strong understanding and can monitor others"},
            {5, "Expert proficiency", "Deep expertise and recognized authority in the skills"}
    
  6. Training Needs: Indicates whether training is needed (Yes/No).

  7. Team Name: The team to which the employee belongs.
